Life changing opportunity?

“We all hope for one, especially when trying to climb out of addiction and nothing but uncertainty lies ahead.

Archway House was this opportunity for me.

I was four months into recovery from alcoholism. After spending those months in treatment facilities, and beginning the steps of AA, the prospect of returning to my family and my home was nowhere in sight. Not right away and maybe never. I needed a solution, and a private apartment or sober house with 20 people weren't what I was looking for.

I am a successful business owner with 70 employees and all the challenges and time requirements that come along with that. A sober living house with strictly regulated schedules and multiple people of all ages per room was not a good option for me to re-engage with my professional life.

Archway House had what I needed. It was perfectly located for me, close to my work and family. A beautiful home that was move-in ready. They offered only individual rooms, no double or triple bunking. The house has 6 bedrooms and will only have 6 men at any time. Everything necessary for me to run my business from Archway or to return there at the end of a work day. Logistics were taken care of.

What made the difference for my recovery was the tremendous support that Charlie of Archway House, along with his team provided me on my path. I spent 13 months at Archway House. Dinners every Sunday with my house mates and the Archway team were provided. Weekly mid week check-in meetings were held where we could address living issues, and work together on our recovery. A fellowship began, and remains to this day, a year after I moved out and reunited with my family.

To say that Archway House helped to change my life is an understatement! I will forever be grateful to Charlie and the Archway team.”

Would you recommend?

“I would highly recommend Archway House for sober living. A comfortable and supportive environment for professionals who are looking for a step up from conventional sober living arrangements. Charlie Smith is an amazing human being, empathetic, supportive and genuinely concerned about the residents well being and recovery. If you are looking for a super supportive environment to continue your journey in sobriety, Archway House is an incredible place!”
